We have lots of fun at Women Embrace Adventure but we take your safety and our business very seriously. Below are the terms and conditions of participating in our adventures and events.
Thank you for using our service which is provided by Embrace Escapes Pty Ltd, trading as Women Embrace Adventure (ABN 83620632215) registered office is 47 Kilaben Rd, Kilaben Bay, NSW Australia, 2283, mailing address P.O. Box 139, Toronto, NSW, 2283.

Acceptance of Risk
When you book in for any trip with us, you agree that you understand our adventures operate in unpredictable outdoor environments. As a participant, you agree to accept the inherent risks and dangers associated with any activity in which you participate with us, our 3rd party providers or contractors and the accompanying of injury, death or property loss or damage.
You must at all times, notify your trip leader if you feel unwell, unsafe or are injured so we can take appropriate action to care for you.
WEA leaders are qualified in First Aid, insured for public liability and undergo training to ensure they are skilled for the activity and to lead groups safely.
When booking in for a Women Embrace Adventure, you confirm that you have generally good physical and mental health. You also confirm you have appropriate levels of health for the required activity you have registered for.
Upon booking, you confirm that you have disclosed to WEA all medical conditions, dietary requirements, medications, allergens or injuries, previous injuries, conditions that may affect your ability to undertake activities with us.
The minimum age to book in for all trips, adventures and events is 18 years of age unless otherwise stated.
Physical Activity and Exercise
Exercise and health are matters that vary from person to person. You should always consult a physician before starting an adventure, a fitness program or changing your diet. Not all exercises, nutrition programs or activities are suitable for everyone. The information presented on this website is in no way intended as a substitute for medical, nutritional or psychological counselling or advice.
You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in physical activity during our adventures, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge WEA, all its instructors, commentators and any associated with WEA from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown.
WEA websites and their contents are made available without warranties or guarantees of any kind and WEA, any contributing author(s) of any articles including any third party contributors, disclaim any and all liability for any type or form of injury, including personal, direct, indirect or consequential or damage of any kind or type resulting from the use of this website or from any information, advice, goods, services or other resources that may be mentioned or made accessible through this website. This includes personal physical injury from performing any exercise described, or any and all forms of injury and/or damage to person, both animate or inanimate, mental, physical, electronic or any other form of injury. We also disclaim liability caused by intentional or unintentional negligence.
When booking in for an WE adventure, you confirm that you have generally good health. You also confirm you have appropriate levels of insurance for the required activity you have registered for. Upon booking, you confirm that you have disclosed to WEA all medical conditions, dietary requirements, medications, allergens or injuries that may affect your ability to undertake activities with us.
Important information updated 30/08/21
To prioritise the wellbeing of women, staff and our community, Women Embrace Adventure is taking important measures to limit the transmission of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). WEA is a NSW Registered Covid Safe Business.
Before you book or attend an adventure, please note:
If you have recently travelled overseas, into a known hot spot been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, have flu-like symptoms (such as fever or cough), or live in an LGA of concern reschedule your adventure until after your isolation period ends.
If you become unwell prior to your adventure or have contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please email email@example.com to reschedule.
If you become unwell during your adventure inform the leader immediately and follow health protocol as outlined.
Women Embrace Adventure has the following safety measures in place:

Individually packaged food where applicable

Here’s how you can help us when attending your adventure:
Use WEA Covid QR check
Stay at home if you are unwell
Wash your hands before joining us, use hand sanitiser often when you are with us
Avoid touching your nose and mouth
Wear a mask when required
Maintain a safe distance of 1.5 metres from others where possible
Be patient, we are in this together
Contact Tracing: Prior to attending an adventure with us, you will be required to provide a current phone number and residential address (address of accommodation if travelling) and your full name in order to complete your activity, your personal data may be provided to official government bodies to help stop the spread of any health outbreaks.
WEA reserves the right to request proof of covid vaccination, covid test results or any other requirements in line with the current government regulations. WEA. Any additional costs related to government travel restrictions are the responsibility of the individual traveller and not WEA.
To take part in our Adventures, you need to book in on our website, complete all required fields for personal information including any waiver forms and agree to these terms and conditions. Booking fees and/or deposits must be paid at the time of booking.
Your booking is made via a third-party company, PayPal. By reading these terms and conditions, you agree that when booking an adventure you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of WIX booking systems and PayPal.
Local Adventures: As we work with various Third-Party Travel Agents/Providers and their booking policies may vary, the refund and cancellation policy is specified in the booking section relating to each trip. These activities must be paid in full upon booking prior to the event to secure your place. Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive an email confirmation advising you your place is secure on the adventure. Please refer to the booking section for each local adventure regarding the specific Terms and Conditions that relate to that adventure.
National Australian Based Adventures: As we work with various Third-Party Travel Agents/Providers and their booking policies may vary, the refund and cancellation policy is specified in the booking section relating to each trip. This information is available prior to you needing to make a decision on your participation in the trip. Please ensure that you read this carefully as we adhere to the terms and conditions for each event. It is a requirement of these adventures that you take out the required Travel Insurance. WEA and its providers will not be responsible for any losses incurred due to inadequate or insufficient Travel Insurance.
Overseas and Multi-Day Adventures: As we work with various Third-Party Travel Agents/Providers and their booking policies may vary, the refund and cancellation policy is specified in the booking section relating to each trip. This information is available prior to you needing to make a decision on your participation in the trip. Once you are confirmed on the adventure, your booking may be handled by our Third-Party provider, in conjunction with WEA and the booking terms and conditions will be made available to you. It is a requirement of these adventures that you take out the required Travel Insurance. WEA and its providers will not be responsible for any losses incurred due to inadequate or insufficient Travel Insurance.
It is important you read and understand the Transfer of departure dates conditions as specified: We do not offer transfers as part of our Terms and Conditions unless this is due to extenuating circumstances. Transfers will not be given if you change your mind or preference for a different adventure. We recommend you choose your adventure wisely.
All payments are in Australian AUD dollars only, inclusive of GST where applicable. When paying via our website/credit card you agreeing to the terms and conditions of PayPal payment company.
WEA General Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WEA will not be liable for any delays, disruptions, omissions or errors in the operation of the membership program. This includes any technical or mechanical malfunctions and WEA will not be liable for any loss caused by any such errors.
To the extent permitted by law, WEA is not liable for any points, vouchers, offers, and/or benefits not being available for any reason whatsoever. In addition, and without limiting the foregoing, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for: any failure by a Member to take advantage of any points, vouchers, offers and/or benefits because they have not complied with the conditions of the specific offer (including limited time offers), or by any failure of the Member to use the discount code and notify that they are a member and entitled to an offer or benefit. WEA gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of the Member program.
WEA will not be financially liable for the termination of a Member’s membership, including any valid voucher codes and offers that have not been redeemed at the time of termination.
When booking in for our adventures, you confirm that you have generally good health. You also confirm you have appropriate levels of insurance for the required activity you have registered for. We recommend adequate travel insurance for all adventures.
At WEA, we may have professional photographers join us to take photos or videos of participants. Leaders may also take photographs and videos of you while you are on an adventure. By joining an adventure, you give us permission to use this material, including for promotional materials without any compensation to you or express written permission from you.
If you provide photos and video content to us as part of a contribution for an article, or social media post, you agree to allow us free and unlimited license to use any images or materials how we best see fit. If you do not wish a photo/video taken of you to be used by us or through other social media channels, please submit a request to let the leader know on your trip or write to us via email.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WEA absolutely disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. WEA gives no warranty that the documents, goods or services will be free of errors, or that defects will be corrected, or that our website or its server is free of viruses or any other harmful components.
Whilst we, at all times we work to have the most accurate, reliable and up-to-date information on our website, we do not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the result of the use of any document, product, service, link or information in its website or as to their correctness, suitability, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
WEA is not a licensed travel agent (Travel Agents Act 1985), nor a carrier or hotelier, nor do we own aircraft, hotels or coaches. The services WEA provide consist of arranging and coordinating accommodation, tours and transfers, escorting tours, and introducing clients to various third-party travel service providers. We exercise every care in the selection of reputable travel agents, airlines, tour operators, coach operators, hotels and other service providers of the various travel services which are used in these tours. It is important to note, therefore, all bookings with WEA are subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the service providers whose services we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage. Because of this WEA does not accept liability for events beyond our control, nor liability for accidents incurred due to actions taken at your own risk.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and Embrace Escapes, its leaders, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the adventures and Services or your violation of these Terms.
· Membership costs $199/year.
· Only individuals (not businesses) over the age of 18 and are Australian residents may join.
· Only 1 (one) Membership per person is permitted.
· To join, you must sign up online at www.womenembraceadventure.com.au
· Women Embrace Adventure (WEA) reserves the right to refuse any application for membership at their discretion.
This agreement and this website are subject to the laws of New South Wales and Australia.
