About The Adventure
This Hike is a women’s only guided hike along the Yuelarbah Walking Track in Glenrock State Conservation area with 2 Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way. There may be a couple of detours along the way as Parks work their magic on the storm effected trails but that's all part of the adventure!
About the Hike: The walk is a hosted 7.5 km walk starting on a raised boardwalk, the scenic track leads you along Flaggy Creek, through wet gullies and coastal rainforest, and if that’s not enough, you'll pass a couple of waterfalls (dependant on rainfall) before stumbling across the beautiful Glenrock Lagoon. Take some time to take in the sights and sounds of the beach and then we climb to the top of the hill to see the spectacular view of the coast from above. We continue along the fire trails and meet back up to the Yuelarbah track to our starting point. This walk is a moderate track including some short steep hills, boardwalks, bush tracks and quite a few steps both up and down. Don’t worry though, we are in no rush so you cantake your time and enjoy the expereince. If in doubt about your fitness level for this hike drop us an email and we will tell you all aobut the hike. It's always a good idea to check with your doctor about your suitability, too. Your hosts are Wilderness first aid qualified. After our walk we will go to our favourite little cafe in Whitebridge for a delicous lunch and a refreshing beverage.
