Women Embrace 'Book Club - The Next Chapter' Movie Fundraiser

Get your girlfriends together for a Movie FUNdraising event to support our charitable partner, Restore One! Our goal? Raise enough to build the Year 7 classroom and cover teacher's wages in one of the poorest Cambodian villages. Changing lives, one girl, one school, one village at a time!

Women Embrace Adventure welcomes you and your besties to a fundraising movie night with some pre-movie mingling, raffles, lucky door prizes, and yes, there will be a glass of bubbles waiting for you at the door!

Send out your group messages and rally the girls to see Book Club: The Next Chapter, the sequel to the 2018 film Book Club, Starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen. This romantic comedy sees four best friends take their book club to Italy for the fun girls' trip they never had. When things go off the rails, and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.

• Movie Starts: 6:30 PM Sharp
• Ticket Cost: $45 per person. Your ticket includes your movie ticket, a drink (Water, soft drink, or bubbles). All proceeds go directly to our Charitable Partner, Restore One. www.restoreone.org.au

Why are we raising money for Restore One? 

A team of amazing WEA women are heading to Cambodia in October for a cultural and volunteer trip to support Restore One. The WEA Team are raising money collectively to help build an urgently needed year 7 classroom and fund the teachers and resources needed at the school. We have set a team fundraising goal of $15,000. With your help, we can make a difference...one child, one family, one village at a time. Each person who has signed up for this trip pays 100% of their own travel expenses, with all proceeds of our movie night (and other fundraising efforts) going directly to our team tally and the Restore One School Charity Fund.

In the two previous trips WEA has taken to Cambodia, we have seen first-hand the work that the Restore One Charity does across the village and at their school; it is simply amazing. Restore One provides quality schooling that is safe and supportive for the children of the area, especially the girls, changing the future for entire families for generations to come. 

By offering a 'hand up' and not a handout, Restore One is changing the lives of people in extreme poverty, one child, one family, one village at a time. We feel truly blessed to be part of it.

No refunds will be given but you can pay it forward to another lady over the age of 18. Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure a credit or full refund will be provided.

This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 13 March 2023 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency.

All current government safety and health guidelines at the time of booking and departure must be adhered to, including all Covid-19 requirements. Any additional costs related to but not limited to government travel restrictions are the responsibility of the individual traveller and not Women Embrace Adventure. If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip.
