This morning we are up bright and early in time for a sunrise breakfast at Evans Lookout. Sandstone walls, ever-present waterfalls and abundant native plants line this historic loop track that takes you into the heart of this World Heritage-listed landscape. It's an intimate, adventurous, and popular track that walkers have trodden since 1907.

After lunch at our accommodation, we will head out for a very special afternoon with Evan from Blue Mountains Walkabout Tours, where we will learn of traditional Aboriginal culture in nature on an adventure bushwalk. The tour Includes walking a songline, Darug (local language group) history,  bush tucker tasting and bush medicines (tea tree, eucalyptus and sasparilla).

This morning we get a bit of a sleep in and have time to enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast. After we have packed our lunch and trail snacks, we will head out to Blackheath to walk the Walls Ledge, Porters Pass, Centennial Glen Circuit. This circuit walk covers many of the tracks just to the west of Blackheath. The walk follows the cliff lines, both above and below, with amazing views of the Kanimbla Valley, rock features and waterfalls. The walk takes in a cross-section of plants, with defined changes through the cliff passes. A fabulous and sometimes hard walk.

After a delicious dinner, grab your head torches as we are heading out for a night walk to Horseshoe Falls. It’s a short a sometimes tricky walk, but we will take our time to get there. It will be totally worth it as we are greeted by a colony of Glow Worms in one of the prettiest waterfalls in the Blue Mountains.

Hiking Grade: Grade 4

Meals Included: Breakfast, morning tea, trail snacks, lunch, pre-dinner nibbles and dinner.

Day 4 – Sunday 8th October

After breakfast, we head out to Echo Point lookout to start the Great Round Walk. This is a memorable day out in the famous Blue Mountains National Park that takes in renowned views. Gaze at the scenic vista before descending the valley via the 800-plus steel and stone steps, originally constructed in 1909. Marvel at the fabulous Three Sisters from the ground up. From here, it’s an easy stroll along Federal Pass to Katoomba Falls. Arriving at Scenic World, get ready for some heart-pumping action up the Furber steps. (if you have had enough of stairs, you can take the scenic railway back up to the top BUT it will cost you $50 - you can make this decision on the day).  Whichever way you decide to get to the top we will regroup for lunch at the top and then follow part of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk between Scenic World and Echo Point. You will see amazing views of the Jamison Valley and Mt Solitary before returning back to Echo Point and the majesty of the Three Sisters.

After our walk, we will head back to our accommodation, and those who are not staying for the additional day can take their time to pack up, have a rest, a hot tub and leave when ever they are ready. For those taking on canyoning tomorrow - we will have an early dinner and be in bed early for our extra day of adventure tomorrow.
