About The Adventure

About the Mindful Morning:

This 3 hour adventure includes Kayaking and Yoga followed by a healthy morning tea to restore.

To start off our mindful morning you will kayak at our own pace in single kayaks along the waters edge. As you paddle take time to focus on the beauty of the lake and it's surrounds, taking in the sights and sounds. After about an hour of paddling we'll return to the park for a Restorative Yin Yoga session. Stretch, breath and find some stillness as your yoga teacher Bree helps you explore your awareness after a morning of connecting with nature. Breath in the fresh air and exhale any unwanted thoughts as we discover the benefits of combining gentle stretching and restful postures that allow us to switch on the parasympathetic nervous system.

Finish off a perfect morning of Kayaking and Yoga with a light healthy Morning Tea at the waters edge.

Our goal is to have you leaving this session feeling truly revitalised.

Meeting point: Nanda Street, Marmong Point. Drive past the Marmong Marina and you will see us on the left at the side of the lake. Look for the Women Embrace Adventure Banner.

Includes: All Kayaking and safety equipment. Safety talk and instruction. Yoga session, mats and instruction. Delicious healthy morning tea.

Cost: $80

How fit do I need to be? Our Mindful Morning Kayak and Yoga is perfect for all fitness levels, including beginners. We do ask that you are comfortable and confident in the water to be able to take part in this event.

Do I need to bring anything with me? Yes,

  • Please wear active wear
  • Footwear that can get wet
  • Towel
  • A change of clothes incase you get wet while Kayaking
  • Water bottle
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Additional layers incase of cold weather

What if I don’t have anyone to go with? No problem at all, there is always 2 Women Embrace Adventure hosts to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the morning we are sure you would have found some new friends. ​

What if I have never Kayaked or done Yoga before? No problem, your WEA hosts and Yoga Teacher will give you full instructions for both activities and help you every step of the way. The Kayak are extremely sturdy and easy to use.

What happens if it is raining? We understand that Yoga in the outdoors will not be enjoyable if it is raining. Incase of substantial rain we may call this event off. If Women Embrace Adventure call this adventure off due to weather we will reschedule for a later date and you can either transfer your ticket to this date or we will be happy to refund you.

Booking terms and Conditions: Payments are final once you receive a confirmation email.  No refunds will be given however can be transferred. If Women Embrace Adventure cancels this event due to lack of subscription or inclement weather you will receive a full refund.  For full T&C see our webpage.
