About The Adventure
Join us for a women’s only easy guided 5km hike along the waters edge from the shore of Myuna Bay and around Rocky Point with 2 Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way. After our walk, we'll set up along the water for some hot drinks and home-baked goodies for morning tea.
About the Walk: This easy 5km circuit takes in the southern shore of Myuna Bay, the Myuna Bay scout campsite, the Eraring Power Station outlet canal area and Rocky Point. From the lovely Myuna Bay Foreshore, the walk follows well-defined walking tracks, roads and fire trails with bridges over all creek crossings. This is an easy walk and a good walk for any level of fitness. We do recommend you have a moderate level of fitness to ensure this is an enjoyable walk for you. Meeting Time: 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start
Meeting point: Myunna Bay- exact meeting point will be sent to you via email upon registration
Maximum Numbers: 12 including your WEA guides
Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required
Experience: No experience needed
Length: The walk is approximately 5kms long and will take us approximately 2 hours
Cost: $35

How fit do I need to be? This hike covers approx 5 km of easy to moderate walking there are some stairs, some hills, uneven levels of terrain as well as some paved walkways, bridges and grasslands, its got a bit of everything. If you're not sure about your fitness level just give us a call, we're happy to have a chat and give you all the details. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time and pets are not allowed.
What do I need to bring?
-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)
-wear walking shoes or sturdy joggers
-hat
-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing
-bug spray
-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc)
-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)
-an extra warm layer
-at least 1 litre of water
-leave an extra set of clothes in the car to change into afterwards in case we run into cold or wet weather on our walk
I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?
Not a problem at all! Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on this beautiful hike. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone. By the end of the hike, you may have just found some new adventure friends!
