About The Adventure

About the Walk: The walk is an approx 8.5 km guided walk along the waterfront walking into Lake Macquarie Conservation area at Bolton Point. The walk starts on the waterfront walking path, winds through the bush, onto the boardwarks, up a few hills and a couple of stairs. You can expect lots of birdlife and beautiful Lake Macquarie vistas. The serene bushwalk through towering trees gives you the feeling you’re a million miles away from the suburbs, though it’s not far at all. This is an easy-moderate walk. We do recommend you have a moderate level of fitness to ensure this is an enjoyable walk for you.

About the Lunch and more:  We'll share a picnic lunch and cold drink on the patio of the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie overlooking the parkgrounds and lake. We can accomdate most dietary needs, just let us know when you book. After lunch we'll wander around the gallery exhibit (featuring Lake Macquarie residence who have made it big in the big wide world!) and browse the excellent gift shop.
