How fit do I need to be?
Although you do not have to have any surfing experience we do ask that you have a moderate level of fitness due to the nature of this adventure. You need to be able to swim unaided for this adventure.
Â
Do I need experience?
Definitely not! This adventure is for all ladies and no surfing experience is required. We have qualified instructors who will give you personalised attention no matter what your surfing experience.Â
Â
How many women will be on this adventure?
We like to keep things quite small and intimate at Women Embrace Adventure to offer you a supportive and friendly environment. There will be a max of 8 ladies plus your WEA host and surfing instructors.Â
Â
I'll be coming on my own, is that ok? Â
Not a problem at all! Â Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we start the session. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone. Â By the end of the adventure, you may have just found some new adventure friends!
Â
Will bad weather conditions affect my tour?
Wet weather will generally not cause the cancellation of a surfing adventure, in fact, some of the best surfing conditions are in the rain. Wind and stormy weather that cause havoc with the ocean, on the other hand, can cause cancellations. If the weather is a potential safety risk, we will contact you in the days before the tour to discuss your options. Â Cancellations that are made due to weather conditions made by Women Embrace Adventure are entitled to a full refund, or we can transfer your booking to another day.
