Women Embrace Segway Tour & Lunch - Hunter Valley Vineyards

Not just any Segway ride…This one is a Kangaroo spotting/nature tour. Explore this historic region famous for its world-class wine on your very own Segway! This amazing adventure starts off at the brewery at Hunter Valley Resort, before entering the off-road tracks /trails of this vast bushland property and travelling along an old 1880’s stock route. No cars!!!.

Here we might encounter scores of kangaroo’s, awesome views of the Brokenback Ranges and even the odd wombat. Who doesn't love an odd wombat?!

Nestled next to the Brokenback Mountain Range and overlooking the scenic views of the Vanessa Vale vineyard this adventure starts off with one on one instruction and training by a qualified Segway Guide.

After everyone is comfortable riding the Segway the tour heads off along the off-road tracks and trails of the 1880’s Stock Route that intersects the Hunter Resort property. Here you get to appreciate the grapes in their natural state and then the finished product!

This one hour tour plus training ticks all the boxes incorporating beautiful scenery, knowledgable hosts who'll share facts about the region from its past to the present. Riding the latest technology in Segway personal transporters, this adventure is ideal for all fitness levels.  So make sure you bring your camera, it’s an experience not to be missed and will guarantee to put the WOW into your day and a smile on your face!

After our amazing Segway ride, we will have lunch at the gorgeous Brokenback Bar at Estate Tuscany (Just across the road from the Adventure Center) Choose lunch and a drink of your choice from the fantastic menu, maybe a glass of local wine or a middy of beer from a local brewhouse.

What are the requirements for this adventure?

This event is for women over the age of 18

There is a weight restriction for the Segways of 120kg

What do I need to bring?

-enclosed shoes - no thongs or sandals are allowed on the segway

-hat

-sunscreen and sun-protective warm clothing

-bug spray

-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc)

-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)

-an extra warm layer

-water

How fit do I need to be? This adventure is for all fitness levels. 

What if I don’t have anyone to go with?  No problem at all, there is always a Women Embrace Adventure host to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the day, we are sure you would have found some new friends.​

NSW Covid Regulations:

As we are opening up with a few adventuretures before the 1st December we will be following the NSW Health Guidelines in regards to Covid. WEA will be following covid safe checkins with QR codes and asking for Proof of Vaccination (using either your covid -19 digital certificate OR your immunisation history statement) for everyone attending adventures before December 1. We cannot wait to welcome everyone, regardless of vacination status after December 1st 2022.
