Women Embrace Newcastle Walk and Piazza Mercato Dinner

About the Adventure: How does an evening stroll on the beautiful Newcastle Foreshore with a stop for dinner at one of the hottest new restaurants in town sound? Antipasti, a glass of toasty Italian red? 10 hour slow cooked pork over homemade pasta? Oh yeah!

We think it sounds like a great way to spend a winter evening! Meeting at Nobby’s we’ll walk to Piazza Mercato to share dinner and a drink of your choice and listen to some awesome live music. Together we’ll wander the streets of Newcastle, to work off a bit of dinner, back to our cars at the East End Beach parking area. All up we’ll walk approx. 5 km total on the evening. The restaurant can cater for most dietary needs, kindly let us know yours upon booking.

Details: Evening Urban stroll from Nobby’s Beach to dinner at Piazza Mercato and return to East End Beach Parking Area (approx. 5 km total walking)

Meeting Time:  5:45 for 6:00pm Start

Meeting Point: Newcastle East. We will send exact meeting point via email and text after booking.

About the Walk:  Walking on paved pathways, some uneven surfaces, a few stairs and a couple of small hills. 5kms in total.

Toilets: There are toilets at the start (and finish) of the walk.

Car Parking: There is a large car park at the beginning of the walk.

FAQs

How fit do I need to be? This walk is suitable for all fitness levels. All paths for this easy walk are paved and relatively flat with very few stairs.  Don’t worry we aren't in too much of a rush so just take your time, have a chat and enjoy the sights.

What do I need to bring? Warm comfortable clothes and shoes that you can walk in and also wear to dinner,  extra layers as it will could be cold, wet weather jacket (if it looks like rain), a small bottle of water.  

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on our walk. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end of the night you may have just found some new adventure friends! 

How many will be on our walk?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure there will be no more than 16 women your plus your WEA guides.
