Women Embrace Newcastle Harbour Evening Walk and Wine

Join us for a evening walk along the Newcastle foreshore.  Starting and finishing at the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, Wickham, we'll take an easy, flat 5 - 7km walk and finish off with a drink at the Yacht Club. Come along and enjoy a chat, get active on the beautiful Newcastle foreshore! 

About the walk: The is a hosted 5-7km walk along the waterfront, amongst the urban buzz of Newcastle foreshore. All paths for this easy walk are paved and relatively flat with very few stairs.  Don’t worry we aren't in too much of a rush so just take your time, have a chat and enjoy the sights.  After the walk we'll relax at NCYC waterfront restaurant Hooked and buy you a drink of your choice. We'll be staying for dinner and would love for you to join us too.  (Dinner at own cost)

Date: Thursday 30th July 2020

Meeting Time: 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start

Meeting Point: Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, Wickham NSW.  We'll send the specific meeting spot in your confirmation email.

Maximum Numbers: 12 plus your WEA guides

Fitness Level: This is an easy walk along flat plaths so if you can walk around the shops you can join us on this walk.

Experience: no experience needed

Length: walk is approximately 5-7kms long and will take us approx 1.5hours 

Cost: $35 *Payment due in full upon booking and is non refundable however is transferable to women over 18 years of age.

FAQs

How fit do I need to be? This walk is suitable for all fitness levels. All paths for this easy walk are paved and relatively flat with very few stairs.  Don’t worry we aren't in too much of a rush so just take your time, have a chat and enjoy the sights.

What do I need to bring? Warm comfortable walking/ active wear, sturdy walking shoes or joggers, extra layers as it will be cold, a beanie, wet weather jacket (if it looks like rain), at least a litre of water.  

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on our walk. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end of the night you may have just found some new adventure friends! 

How many will be on our walk?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure there will be no more than 12 women your plus your WEA guides.

T&C's: Payment for WEA half day and full day adventures are final once you receive a confirmation email.  No refunds will be given but can be transferred to another lady over the age of 18, please email us before the adventure and provide her contact details.
