About The Adventure
This hike is a women’s only guided hike along the Lilly Pilly and Redgum walking trails in Wyrrabalong National Park with your Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way.
About the Hike: The walk is a 7-8km Grade 3 guided walk through a gorgeous slice of the Central Coast between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean. We'll gaze at the rainforest canopy of towering corkwoods, cabbage tree palms and tuckeroos, and be treated to views over important wetlands bordering Tuggerah Lake. We'll wander through areas of beautiful twisted Sydney Redgums which lean over our track in several places. We'll keep watch for birds and butterflies and might see some late season flannel flowers. Countless photo opportunities await us along this picturesque track, and with so much to see you won't be able to help but be impressed. We will enjoy a delicious home made morning tea and a hot drink towards the end of our walk.
The walk does include a few hills and bush steps along the way and is mostly on a sandy track. We recommend you have a moderate fitness level to ensure it is an enjoyable walk for you. Your hosts are wilderness first aid qualified.Â
