Women Embrace Hiking - Full Day Adventure, Cowan to Brooklyn, NSW

Join Women Embrace Adventure as we take on this popular part of the Great North Walk, the Jerusalem Track. We follow the track from Cowan Station down to the picturesque Jerusalem Bay, then climb up over a series of ridges before descending into Brooklyn with a stop at the famous Anglers Rest Pub to share a cold beverage. 

About the Hike: This walk is a great one way trip from station to station with numerous water views, including a circumnavigation of Brooklyn Dam.  This walk is graded hard, and not for the beginner hiker,  but the beauty of the surroundings makes the hard work all worthwhile. The hike will take approx 6 hours in total, including stops for morning tea and lunch breaks. At Women Embrace Adventure it is all about the journey and not just the destination, we will stop to take photos, smell the wildflowers, admire the mushrooms and really enjoy all the flora and fauna.

• Time: 7:15 for 7:30 am start

Meeting point: Cowan Train Station, Old Pacific Highway NSW. Meet us on the on Sunday the 18th April at 8:15am out the front of Cowan Train Station. It is only a small station so we won't miss each other. 

Please note: Your WEA hosts will be parking at Brooklyn ( Hawkesbury River Station) and catching the train in the morning to Cowan station. doing this means our car will be ready for us at the end of the day to drive home rather than waiting for the train. The train leave Broklyn at 7:53am to get to Cowan in time to meet the rest of the group. 

What if I don't have anyone to go with?   No problem at all, there is a Women Embrace Adventure host to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the Hike we are sure you would have found some new friends.
