Join us for a hike in Bouddi National Park on the Central Coast of NSW. Following the rocky coastline, this hike has lots of worthy side trips to lookouts, beaches and even a shipwreck. We'll check out the local flora and fauna, and enjoy a delicious morning tea and lunch along the way.

About the Hike:Â
Beautiful vistas, scrumptious morning tea and lunch and some lesser-known side tracks are just some of the highlights you'll discover on this hike! This is a loop walk taking in the sights of Bouddi National Park and it is rich in beautiful scenery. Walking from Putty Beach, we'll make our way to Maitland Bay and Mt Bouddi with some side-track scrambles. We'll stop for some morning tea along the way.Â
Boasting beaches, boardwalks and birdlife, Bouddi's coastal walk is known as one of the most picturesque of the Central Coast walks. This moderate to hard hike, covering up to 12 km and about 300 metre gain/loss,  is characterised by sweeping views, shady rainforest and inviting picnic spots. There’s a photo opportunity around every corner on Bouddi coastal walk. Bouddi National Park is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors and we hope you can join us.Â

Date: Saturday 22 July April 2023
Meeting Time: 7:45 am for an 8:00 am start
Meeting Point: Putty Beach Camp. Details of the exact meeting point will be sent to you upon registration.Â
Parking: Parking in the National Park is $8 per car and is at your own cost
Grade of hike: This walk is graded 4/5. Click for the Walking track grading systemÂ
Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required. This walk covers many stairs, uneven pathways and some beach walking and rock scrambing, and we recommend having a moderate-high level of fitness to walk this distance comfortably.
Experience: Some hiking experience is recommended due to the uneven terrain, length and number of stairs on this hike
Length: The hike is up to 12km long and will take us between 5-6 hours to complete, including a morning tea and lunch stops.Â

FAQS
What do I need to bring?
We will send you a complete list when you register but here's an idea of what you need:
-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)
-hiking boots, sturdy joggers or trail runners with excellent tread are needed
-sun hat
-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing
-bug spray
-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc)
-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/wet weather)
-an extra warm layer in case of cold/windy weather
-hike poles (optional)
-at least 2 litres of water (remember we will be walking for a number of hours and there are no water fill-up points along the way)
-we recommend leaving an extra set of clothes in the car for after the hike in case we run into cold or wet weather along the way
How fit do I need to be? This hike covers approx 12km of moderate levels of terrain. You will need a moderate level of fitness to participate comfortably. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time and pets are not allowed.Â
I'll be coming on my own, is that ok? Â
Not a problem at all! Â Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on this beautiful hike. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone. Â By the end of the hike, you may have just found some new adventure friends!

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given but your can pay it forward to another lady over the age of 18. Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure, a credit or full refund will be provided.
This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 13 January 2023 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency.
All current government safety and health guidelines at the time of booking and departure must be adhered to, including all Covid-19 requirements. Any additional costs related to but not limited to government travel restrictions are the responsibility of the individual traveller and not Women Embrace Adventure. If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip.
