About The Adventure

This hike is a women’s only guided hike along the Awaba Bay walking track from Marmong Point to Bolton Point with two Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way.

About the Hike: The walk is an approx 7.5 km guided walk along the waterfront walking into Lake Macquarie Conservation area at Bolton Point. The walk starts on the waterfront walking path, winds through the bush, onto the boardwarks, up a few hills and a couple of stairs. You can expect lots of birdlife and beautiful Lake Macquarie vistas. The serene bushwalk through towering trees gives you the feeling you’re a million miles away from the suburbs, though it’s not far at all. This is an easy-moderate walk. We do recommend you have a moderate level of fitness to ensure this is an enjoyable walk for you. If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  Your hosts are wilderness first aid qualified.
