Join Women Embrace Adventure for a fully guided, all-inclusive, pack free walking tour. 

Explore Kosciuszko National Park which features the highest mountains in Australia. Fabulous granite formations, green alpine meadows and broad views in all directions make for an excellent walking holiday. This adventure gives you the opportunity to escape and explore our alpine environment with like-minded women.

ADVENTURE OVERVIEW:

Tour Length: 5 nights /6 days

Start Date:   Sunday 27th March 2022

Finish Date:  Friday 1st April  2022

Distance Walked: approx 58km over 5 days

Fitness Level: A moderate to high level of fitness is required. Preparation will make the experience all the more enjoyable.

Group Size: Maximum 10 Women (plus 2 WEA leaders and Local Wilderness guide) - this ensures everyone has a great time, gets to know each other and is well looked after throughout the adventure.

Going Solo? No problem, we welcome solo travellers and guarantee a supportive group of fun-loving women to share your journey with.

Age: For women 18 years and above 

Accommodation:  Combination of a hotel in Canberra and lodge style accommodation in Thredbo. All twin-share, single supplement may be available at additonal cost. The lodges style accommodation has a shared bathroom between 2 rooms.

Hiking Distances per day:

DAY 1 - 7km, 2hrs approx.

DAY 2 - 12km, 5hrs approx.

DAY 3 - 13km, 5.5hrs approx.

DAY 4 - 18km, 8hrs approx.

DAY 5 - 8km, 2hrs approx.

Your Package includes:

• Two Women Embrace Adventure Leaders (both Wilderness First Aid qualified) and one local who will all drive, cook, lead walks and care for you. 
• 5 evening meals, including welcome dinner on night one and a celebration dinner on the final night, with the focus on fresh local seasonal produce.
• 5 Breakfasts, a mix of continental and cooked breakfast depending on the day
• 5 Lunches
• Morning/afternoon tea and snacks each day on the tour
• 5 nights Twin-share accommodation. 1 night Hotel in Canberra, 4 nights lodge accommodation in Thredbo

Advertised prices are per person, twin share and do not include return airfares. Prices are correct as of 15th March 2021 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency. A non-refundable deposit of $600 per person is required to secure a booking. Full price $2,990. The final balance of payment is due 11th January 2022. If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, WEA reserve the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip.
