About The Adventure

A hike with scenery to rival the great walks around the world, what can we say except this is a spectacular part of the world to wander and whale watch. Join us to explore this beautiful coast and watch the Whales as they migrate along the coastline and share a yummy afternoon tea along the way.

About the Hike: Wallarah Coastal Walk is approx 10 km, a grade 4, return hike that will take us about 4 hrs to complete. We'll start at Caves Beach and travel along the coastline, where there are many opportunities to stop, relax, take photos of the amazing scenery and do some whale watching (fingers crossed!) We'll meander through coastal heath vegetation, along rocky outcrops and through bushlands before stopping for afternoon tea and homemade snacks at a beautiful headland. If we're lucky, we'll see lots of humpbacks make their way up the coastline to the warm waters of Tropical North Queensland.
