Walk and Whales Newcastle Women Embrace Adventure

Check out the Anzac Walk with a group of like-minded women! The whales are streaming up the coast at the moment so theres a really good chance for us to see a tail or two as we walk along this beautiful coastline. We'll stop along the way for a cuppa and share some home baked goodies while we admire the view.

Meeting Time:  8 am for a 8:15 am start

Meeting Point: Merewether Surf House, NSW.  We'll send the specific meeting spot in your confirmation email.

Maximum Numbers: 12 plus your WEA hosts

Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required

Experience: no experience needed

Length: walk is approximately 6kms long and will take us approx 2hours

Cost: $40

FAQs

How fit do I need to be? This walk covers easy levels of terrain, most is flat and paved and only a few stairs. This adventure will suit all fitness levels.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  No one gets left behind with two Women Embrace Adventure hosts guiding the walk.  We'll have one at the front and one at the end to support all walkers.

What do I need to bring? Warm comfortable walking/ active wear,  walking shoes or joggers, extra layers as it might be chilly, a beanie, wet weather jacket (if it looks like rain), at least a litre of water.

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on our walk. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end you may have just found some new adventure friends!

How many will be on our walk?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure there will be no more than 12 women your plus your WEA guides.
