About The Adventure

A hike with scenery to rival the great walks around the world, what can we say except this is a spectacular part of the word to wander around AND it is in restriction free Lake Macquarie Council. Join us to explore this beautiful coast and watch the Whales as they migrate along the coastline and share a yummy lunch at the Caves Beach Resort

About the Hike: Wallarah Coastal Walk is approx 10 kms, a grade 4, return hike that will take us about 4.5 hrs to complete. We'll start at Caves Beach and travel along the coastline, where there are many opportunities to stop, relax, take photos of the amazing scenery and do some whale watching. We'll meander through coastal heath vegetation, along rocky outcrops and through bushlands before stopping for morning tea and home made snacks at a beautiful headland. If we're lucky we'll see lots of humpbacks make their way up the coastline to the warm waters of Tropical North Queensland.
