Ever want to give the ancient art of Tai Chi a try? This is your chance!
Our Tai Chi instructor will lead us in a one-hour introductory session on the picturesque shore of Lake Macquarie.Â
We'll share a delicious morning tea, lots of conversation and some guaranteed laughter A great way to spend the morning!

What's Tai Chi all about?
Tai chi is an art embracing the mind, body and spirit. Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Tai chi originated as an ancient martial art in China. Over the years, it has become more focused on health promotion and rehabilitation.

Cost: $65 includes One Hour Tai Chi and morning tea picnic
What do I need to bring/wear?
-Comfortable activewear
-joggersÂ
-hat/sunscreen and sun-protective clothing
-bug spray
-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc.)
-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)
-an extra warm layer in case of cold/windy weather
-water bottle
How fit do I need to be? This adventure is for all fitness levels, to fully enjoy the morning you will need a good level of mobility for the one hour class.
Going Solo?  No problem at all; lots of women come on our adventures solo. There are always two Women Embrace Adventure hosts to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the Hike, we are sure you will have made some new friends!​

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given, but you can ‘Pay it Forward’ (your spot can be transferred to another lady over the age of 18). Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure, a credit or full refund will be provided.
This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 13 April 2024 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency. All current government safety and health guidelines at the time of booking and departure must be adhered to. Â If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip.
