Embrace Sunset Walk and Bubbles - Green Point, NSW

Friday evening...a great walk in a beautiful location, a glass of bubbles, a bit of a nibble with like-minded women and a sunset to boot!

About the Walk:  This 7km women’s only guided walk along beautiful Lake Macquarie's Green Point waterfront offers spectacular views as we pass through the bush and along the waterfront. We'll cover easy to moderate levels of terrain with some stairs and a short, steep incline but the views at the top make it all worthwhile.  We'll finish with a glass of bubbles, share some yummy nibbles, homemade treats and lots of laughter while we watch the sunset over the water.

Maximum Numbers: 14 plus your WEA guides

Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required.

Experience: no hiking experience is needed

FAQ's

How fit do I need to be? You'll need a moderate level of fitness to join us on this walk, but we walk at your pace. On all our adventures, there are two guides, one at the front and one at the back. If you want to be out the front-go for it. If you want to take photos, look at mushrooms, or catch your breath, all good-its all about the journey, not just the destination at Women Embrace Adventure.

If you're unsure if this walk is for you, drop us an email, we'll give you a ring and be happy to have a chat to give you all the details. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time, and pets are not allowed.

What do I need to bring/wear?

-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)

-sturdy joggers, hiking boots or trail runners

-hat

-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing

-bug spray

-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc.)

-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)

-an extra warm layer in case of cold/windy weather

-at least 2 litres of water (remember we will be walking for a couple of hours, and there are  limited fill-up points along the way)

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?

Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on our walk. We always have lots of fun; there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone. By the end of the walk you may have just found some new adventure friends!

How many will be on our walk?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure, there will be no more than 14 women plus your WEA guides.

By making a booking you agree to and accept our terms and conditions, including these Terms and Conditions, our Covid-19 Policy and the Waiver of Liability.

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given but your can pay it forward to another lady over the age of 18. Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure, a credit or full refund will be provided.

This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 14 September 2023 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency.

All current government safety and health guidelines at the time of booking and departure must be adhered to, including all Covid-19 requirements. Any additional costs related to but not limited to government travel restrictions are the responsibility of the individual traveller and not Women Embrace Adventure. If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip. Your booking is non-transferable.
