Embrace Newcastle Evening Walk, Wine and Pizza

Join us for a beautiful evening walk along the Merewether beach foreshore and the Newcastle Anzac Memorial Walk .  Starting and finishing at the Merewether Surf House, we'll take an easy, 5-6 km walk and then share a refreshing beverage and Pizza  at the end. Come along and enjoy a chat, get active in the beautiful City of Newcastle! 

Check out the Newcastle Foreshore at night with a group of like minded women! Enjoy a refreshing beverage and delicious Pizza at the Pizza Kiosk at Merewether Surfhouse.  What better way to finish off a Thursday!

This adventure is a women’s only, evening guided walk.

Meeting point: Merewether Surf House, NSW.  We'll send the specific meeting spot in your confirmation email.

About the walk: The is a hosted 5-6km walk. All paths for this easy walk are paved, well lit, up hill incline on the first halk with some stairs at the Anzac Memerorial Walk and on the way back it is all down hill.  Don’t worry we aren't in too much of a rush so just take your time, have a chat and enjoy the sights.   

After the Walk: After the walk we'll relax at Pizza Kiosk for diner and a drink in front of the fire.  

Cost: $40 per person including the guided walk, beautiful company and dinner including a beverage of your choice (wine, beer, soft drink, coffee or tea) and Pizza for dinner. 

*Payment due in full upon booking and is non refundable however is transferable to women over 18 years of age.

I haven’t done this before, will I be fit enough? This walk covers easy levels of terrain, most is flat and paved and only a few stairs. This adventure will suit all fitness levels.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  No one gets left behind with two Women Embrace Adventure hosts guiding the walk.  We'll have one at the front and one at the end to support all walkers.

Do I need to bring anything with me? Just make sure you wear a pair of joggers/walking shoes, bring along a water bottle, any personal medications you may need, and a jacket/jumper as it will be chilly walking on the waterfront in the evening. 

What if I don’t have anyone to go with? No problem at all, there are two Women Embrace Adventure hosts to make sure everyone is introduced before we set off.  By the end of the walk we're sure you will have found some new friends.​
