Embrace Morning Walking - Warners Bay NSW

What better way to start the day that with a brisk walk with a bunch of awesome Women. Come and join us for a mid morning walk along the foreshore from Warners Bay. It is a flat 5- 7km circuit along a paved walkway along the beautiful Lake Macquarie. We will set a steady pace to get our heart rate up and finish off with coffee and a chat at a local cafe at the end. If you do need to rush off after the walk just grab a take away.

Meeting Point: Warners Bay Foreshore, exact location in confirmation email. Meet is just before 9:30am so we can head off at 9:30am sharp.

About the Event: We walk along shared footpaths that hug the lake foreshore for its entirety. This walk is all about getting outdoors and connecting with other amazing women like yourself. The walk should take approximately 1 hour followed by a coffee at a local cafe.

Cost: $10 - includes your coffee/tea

Age: 18 years and above

​ I haven’t done this before, will I be fit enough? This walk covers easy levels of terrain and is all flat and paved footpaths. We recommend having a moderate level of fitness so you can enjoy your surroundings.  No one gets left behind, we support all walkers.  If in doubt, we always suggest you check with your doctor prior to starting a new physical activity. Your hosts are first aid qualified. ​

Do I need to bring anything with me? Just make sure you wear a pair of joggers and comfortable active wear and bring along a water bottle (we do come across a couple of bubblers along the way as well) We'll bring a first aid kit - not that we have ever used it.

What is the age limit? All Women Embrace Adventure Events are for women 18 years and over unless specified

What if I don’t have anyone to go with? No problem at all, your Women Embrace Adventure host is there to make sure everyone is introduced to each other before we set off. By the end of the walk we are sure you would have found some new friends. ​
