About The Adventure

Wondabyne to Pindar Cave and Return

Wildflowers, Sweeping Views & Sandstone Cave Magic!

What to Expect

Join us for an incredible full-day hiking adventure through Brisbane Water National Park as we walk 14 km from Wondabyne Station to Pindar Cave and return. This beautiful trail feels wonderfully remote, yet it is right on Sydney’s doorstep.

From Wondabyne Station we’ll pass a magnificent Moreton Bay fig before tackling the steep stairs to the fire trail. After a short section of the Great North Walk, we’ll turn towards Pindar Cave and continue along the ridgeline to Mt Pindar Lookout, with panoramic views over Mooney Mooney Creek.

The terrain is wonderfully varied, moving from fire trails to narrow, rocky bush tracks that can be muddy, slippery or overgrown in places. Long trousers, long sleeves and sturdy hiking shoes are strongly recommended.
