About The Adventure
This Hike is a women’s only guided hike along the Yuelarbah Walking Track in Glenrock State Conservation area with 2 Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way.
Meeting point: Yuelarbah picnic area, Burwood Road, Kahiba, NSW. Meet us on Friday 7th June at 9:30am at the latest so we can start our walk at 9:45 am sharp.
About the Hike: The walk is a hosted 6 - 7km walk commencing at a raised boardwalk, the scenic track leads you along Flaggy Creek, through wet gullies and coastal rainforest, and if that’s not enough you will pass 2 waterfalls (dependant on rainfall) before stumbling across the beautiful Glenrock Lagoon. Take some time to take in the sights and sounds of the beach and then we climb to the top of the hill to see a spectacular view of the beach from above. From the beach, we will walk back along the fire trails and meet back up to the Yuelarbah track and back to the carpark. This walk is a moderate track including some short steep hills, boardwalks, bush tracks and quite a few steps both up and down. Don’t worry we are in no rush so just take your time.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability. Your hosts are Wilderness first aid qualified.
After the Hike:Â We will go to PEGS CAFE (157 Dudley Rd, Whitebridge) for a coffee or cold drink and a lite snack. This is included in your price. PEGS is a favourite of WEA and is a community Cafe offering fresh food and drinks with fantastic service and a unique style.
Cost:Â $45 including guided hike followed by a lite morning tea at PEGS. Payment due in full upon booking. Pay Pal or direct credit card accepted through our secure site. Â
I haven’t done this before, will I be fit enough? This hike covers easy to moderate levels of terrain, most is flat and paved but there are a few moderate hills and stairs so we recommend having a moderate level of fitness so you can enjoy your surroundings. No one gets left behind, with 2 guides we will have one at the front and one at the end to support all hikers. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time and pets are not allowed in the Glen Rock State Conservation Park.
Do I need to bring anything with me? Just make sure you wear a comfortable pair of joggers or hiking boots, and bring along a water bottle with at least 1 litre of water and a hat and sunscreen (swimmers if you would like to take a dip in the lagoon or Ocean). We'll bring some snacks and a first aid kit.
What if I don’t have anyone to go with? No problem at all, there are 2 Women Embrace Adventure hosts to make sure everyone is introduced before we set off. By the end of the Hike we are sure you would have found some new friends!
Booking terms and Conditions: Payment for Hikes are final once you receive a confirmation email.  No refunds will be given. This is an all weather event. For full T&C see our webpage.
