About The Adventure
About the Hike:Â
Join us as we walk from beautiful Patonga to Pearl Beach and back again - about a 9 km round trip. This walk explores a section of Brisbane Water National Park between the quaint villages of Patonga and Pearl Beach on the Central Coast of NSW. Â We'll take in stunning ocean views in all directions on this moderate day walk through towering red gums and eucalypts. We'll pass sandstone caves with a natural hanging garden of native ferns and will take some time to stop and enjoy the spectacular Warrah Lookout with views across Palm Beach, Lion Island across the Hawkesbury River. Once back in Patonga, we'll have a delicious lunch at the fantastic Boathouse hotel, the pizzas and the views are outstanding!

Meeting Time: 8:15 am for a 8:30 am start
Meeting Point: Patonga, Central Coast, NSW. Details of the exact meeting point will be sent to you upon registration.Â

Length: the hike is approximately 9 km long and will take us approximately 4 hours
Cost: $85 includes your walk, morning tea, pizza lunch and a drink at The Boathouse Hotel, Patonga

What do I need to bring?
-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)
-hiking boots, sturdy joggers or trail runners are needed
-hat
-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing
-bug spray
-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc.)
-hiking poles (optional)
-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)
-an extra warm layer in case of cold/windy weather
-at least 2 litres of water (remember we will be walking for a few hours, and there are no water fill-up points along the way)
-leave an extra set of clothes in the car for afterwards in case we run into cold or wet weather on our walk
How fit do I need to be? This hike covers approx 9 km of moderate levels of terrain. You will need a moderate fitness level to join us on this walk. If you are not sure if you are fit enough for the walk, please get in touch with us at info@womenembraceadventure.com.au, and we will be happy to give you a call to discuss.Â
This trail is not handicapped accessible, and pets are not allowed.Â
Going Solo?  No problem at all; lots of women come on our adventures solo. There are always two Women Embrace Adventure hosts to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the Hike, we are sure you will have made some new friends!​

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given, but you can ‘Pay it Forward’ (your spot can be transferred to another lady over the age of 18). Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure, a credit or full refund will be provided.
This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 13 April 2024 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice due to fluctuations in charges and currency. All current government safety and health guidelines at the time of booking and departure must be adhered to. Â If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip.
