What to Expect
We'll set off from the Pines Picnic Area to start our morning hike to the elusive Abbots Falls, cover approximately 10 km of bushland undulations on this hike. It's off the beaten track in parts with a few creek crossings, some with cute bridges, others with potentially wet feet, but that's all part of the adventure! A quick climb down a rope leads us to another world as we follow Dora Creek from its humble starting point. The terrain can be challenging with track erosion, uneven ground, muddy areas, and some steady inclines, all of it featuring immense beauty.
