What to Expect
Come and join us for a relaxed Sunday morning surrounded by nature as we explore one of Newcastle's most loved bushland reserves.
Once a coal mine, Blackbutt Reserve is now Newcastle's green heart—182 hectares of beautiful native bushland just minutes from the city. We'll follow the scenic Blackbutt Circuit, walking beneath towering eucalyptus trees, listening to the birds, and keeping an eye out for wallabies, koalas and the many native animals that call the reserve home.
