About The Adventure

Join us on this beautiful 10km walk along the Lake Macquarie entrance from Blacksmiths Beach to the recently re-named Miners Point, in recognition of the coal mining families who lived here between 1915 and 1974.

This walk offers stunning coastal views of Redhead and Swansea Heads along the breezy lakeside pathways of Swansea and grassland trails through Pirrita Island Reserve.

We'll enjoy spectacular vistas across the lake towards Naru Beach and Elizabeth Island from the Miners Point Lookout and finish off with a stroll along Blacksmiths breakwall before returning to our starting point for some home-baked goodies and refreshments.
