About The Adventure

About the Hike:  What a beautiful, coastal area this is!  Our 6km walk starts with some beautiful forest scenery, visits an interesting memorial commemorating the Merchant Navy, and wanders past the scenic Norah Head lighthouse with its stunning coastline views. We take the steps down to the beach and explore the rock shelf below the lighthouse and walk along to Soldiers Beach, stopping here at the lookout for some morning tea and hopefully spot some whales migrating up our beautiful coast. After morning tea we make our way back to our starting point. This walk is a moderate track including some short steep hills, boardwalks, bush tracks and quite a few steps both up and down. Don’t worry we are in no rush so just take your time.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  Your hosts are Wilderness First Aid qualified.
