Women Embrace Hiking Wangi Wangi NSW

This hike is a women’s only guided hike along the Wangi Wangi walking track in Wangi Wangi Conservation area with two Women Embrace Adventure hosts leading the way.​

About the Hike: The walk is an approx 9km guided walk along the waterfront walking into Lake Macquarie Conservation area at Wangi Point. Start walking on the waterfront walking path towards Wangi point. Take a peaceful bushwalk through towering forests to the shores of Lake Macquarie on Wangi circuit walking track, with wonderful scenic views of Pulbah Island, birdwatching and beautiful Lake Macquarie. The serene bushwalk through towering trees gives you the feeling you’re a million miles away from the suburbs, though it’s not far at all. We walk through the Gun Emplacement site at Wangi Wangi which played an important role in Australia's defence system during World War II at a time when invasion from Japan was considered a real possibility.…
