About The Adventure

Join us and spend a couple of hours walking and talking with a bunch of fabulous women in beautiful Blackbutt Reserve, followed by a delicious picnic morning tea with drinks, home-baked goods and fruit.  A perfect start to a Sunday!

Once a coal mine, Blackbutt Reserve is now Newcastle’s beating green heart – 182 hectares of beautiful bushland only ten minutes from the city centre.

We'll enjoy it all as we stroll through the bush, look out for native wildlife, be dwarfed by soaring gums and listen to a cacophony of bird calls. After our walk, sit down, relax and enjoy the local flora and fauna as your hosts prepare a delicious picnic morning tea and a piping hot coffee or tea.
