Walk and Talk Speers Point - Warners Bay 7km Easy Walk

​Registration closes 24 hrs prior. This Hikenic is a women’s only guided hike along the foreshore from Speers point to warners Bay and back. It is an easy 7Km circuit with 2 Embrace Escape hosts leading the way. ​

Meeting point: Sal's By the Lake. 15 Park Road, Speers Point, NSW. Meet us on Sunday the 15th July at 8:15am at the latest so we can start our walk at 8:30 am sharp. ​

About the Hike: Warners bay Foreshore track is an easy graded walk. The walk should take approximately 2 hrs 30 mins to complete. We walk along shared footpaths that hug the lake foreshore for its entirety This walk is all about getting outdoors and having a chat with other amazing women like yourself and how fantastic that we get some exercise while we are doing it. We are in no rush so just take your time.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  Your hosts are first aid qualified.  ​

The Picnic: Instead of a picnic we will stop at a cafe in Warners Bay for a coffee, tea or cold drink of you prefer. This is included in the price.

Cost: $18 with $5 of every Hikenic booked going towards our Chosen 2018 Charity - Restore One.   Payment due in full upon booking. Pay Pal or direct credit card accepted through our secure site.  Credit card payments are safely facilitated by Square.

​ I haven’t done this before, will I be fit enough? This hike covers easy levels of terrain and is all flat and paved footpaths. We recommend having a moderate level of fitness so you can enjoy your surroundings.  No one gets left behind, with 2 guides we will have one at the front and one at the end to support all hikers.  If in doubt, we always suggest you check with your doctor prior to starting a new physical activity.

Do I need to bring anything with me? Just make sure you wear a pair of joggers or hiking boots, and bring along a water bottle and a hat and sunscreen. We'll bring a first aid kit.

What if I don’t have anyone to go with? No problem at all, there are 2 Embrace Escape hosts to make sure everyone is introduced to everyone before we set off. By the end of the Hikenic we are sure you would have found some new friends. ​
