On this 7 day/ 6 night New Zealand adventure you'll enjoy excellent meals, amazing scenery and action packed, adventure filled days as we take on the best New Zealand has to offer. We provide two highly experienced, knowledgeable New Zealand based guides and 1 Women Embrace Adventure host to lead your trip. All you have to do is be ready for adventure and we will take care of the rest!

YOUR ITINERARY: Starts Queenstown NZ / Finishes Queenstown NZ 

DAY 1 Fly into Queenstown

DAY 2 Hike Tiki trail and zipline

DAY 3 Sea Kayak Milford Sound, travel the Milford road and do short walks along the way

DAY 4 Hike the Kepler Track 

DAY 5 Hike to see Rob Roy glacier, then hike overnight into Mt Aspiring Hut 

DAY 6 Hike back out the Matukituki valley, bike the Hawea River Trail

OVERVIEW

Tour Length: 6 nights/ 7 days

Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required. As this adventure includes Hiking, Biking, Kayaking and Zip lining we require at least a moderate level of fitness to make this trip enjoyable for you. Please contact us if you have any questions. 

Group Size: Maximum 12 Women- this ensures everyone has a great time and gets to know each other.

Going Solo? No problem, over half of women who join our adventures and trips come alone, we welcome solo travellers and guarantee a supportive group of fun loving women to share your journey with. 

Recommended Age: This trip is for women 18 years and above 

Accommodation: All accommodation is twin share and is a combination of 3- 4 star hotels and one night at back country hut. Single supplement available at additional cost.

• Transport: To travel in between destinations we will be in a comfortable Toyota Coaster van with an extra trailer for luggage storage. 
• Professional guides and support each day:  (1 Women Embrace Adventure host and 2 New Zealand based guides)
• Emergency support: Wilderness first aid trained host and guides that carry satellite phones, 2 way radios and a full first aid kit so you can adventure without worry

• 6 Breakfasts, 5 lunches, 6 dinners
• All activities outlined in itinerary including zip lining, kayaking, bike riding and hiking

• Airfares to and from Queenstown, NZ
• Transport/transfer to/from Queenstown airport to accommodation
• Alcohol, but you are welcome BYO to enjoy a glass with dinner

Weather:  NZ hiking seasons run from October – April, during the Southern Hemisphere Summer. October/November is Spring – it can be a bit colder and some rain, but less people and beautiful scenery. 

Baggage: All luggage is transported to the next accommodations in our secure lock-up trailer. We recommend bringing one large hiking pack (~70lt), a medium suitcase and a daypack. A full gear list will be sent to you well in advance of the trip. 

How challenging is this trip?

Moderate. Hikes average 10 -15 km per day with flexible options to do more or less hiking. Typically, 3-5 hours hiking per day. Pack weight to be carried on overnight hike - guests must carry their sleeping bag, clothes and toiletries for overnight and a share of some of the group food.

Luggage is transported Toyota coaster fleet in between the hut-to-hut portions of the trip.
