Women Embrace Friday Walk, Talk and Coffee

What better way to start the day than with a brisk early morning walk with a bunch of fabulous women?

Join us for an early morning Friday Walk, Talk and Coffee along the foreshore at Warners Bay.

It's a flat 5-7km walk on a paved walkway along the beautiful Lake Macquarie shoreline. We'll set a steady pace to get our heart rate up and finish off with coffee and a chat at the end - sometimes, we even stay for breakfast. If you do need to rush off after the walk, grab a takeaway.

Meeting Point: Warners Bay Foreshore; we'll send the exact location in a confirmation email. Meet us at 6:25 am so we can head off at 6:30 am.

About the Adventure: Our walk covers easy, level terrain on flat and paved footpaths. It is a good starting point if you haven't joined us before. Come along and meet us and chat with other like-minded women. No one gets left behind; we support all walkers.  If in doubt, we always suggest you check with your doctor before starting a new physical activity. Your hosts are first-aid qualified. ​​

Cost: $10 per/person/Friday. This includes your walk with a bunch of awesome women and a coffee/tea/beverage at a cafe after the walk.

VIP Members: Our Friday Morning walk is included in the benefits for those who have joined our VIP Membership Program. Choose the VIP option when booking. If you haven't joined the VIP Membership Program, no worries, book and pay online to come along.

Frequently Asked Questions:

​I haven't done this before, will I be fit enough?  This walk covers easy, level terrain and is flat and paved footpaths; we will be walking 5-7 km in about 65 minutes.  If in doubt, we always suggest you check with your doctor before starting a new physical activity or drop us an email; we are happy to answer any questions you have.

What do I need to wear and bring with me?  Wear joggers and comfortable clothing or activewear and bring along a water bottle (we do come across a couple of bubblers along the way as well). Bring a wet weather jacket in case of rain.

Who is this walk for?  All Women Embrace Adventure Events are for women 18 and above. Please leave your fur babies at home for this walk.

I am coming on my own, is that ok? Not a problem at all! Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will introduce everyone before we set off on this beautiful walk. We always have lots of fun; there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone. By the end of the walk, you may have just found some new adventure friends!

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given, but you can pay it forward to another lady over the age of 18. Please email us at least 24 hours before the adventure and provide her contact details. This is an all-weather event. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure, a credit or full refund will be provided.
